The main character of the story is Cullen and their are more characters in the book like his aunt Julia she is depressed because of her dead son she mainly cries all the time. Also in the book Cullen's brother is gone he has disappeared. But wile I read the book I think that it is a good and this is very descriptive about the story.
But I think that their are many conflicts about in the book I think that their are so many because on Gabriel has disappeared, also his aunt she is so depressed because her son is dead. But I think that their are going to be more because what has already happened to Cullen and also I think that their going to be even more worse than what they already were.

American Indian Post
The American Indians were marginalized by the Americans because they were taking their land that they had and that was theirs, but not just that they were forced to do things that they didn't want to do, And with their old traditions they forced to forget them or they would get hit by the americans. So the Americans wanted to change how the Native Americans so Pratt took all the children from their homes so that they would be educated because he wanted them to change who they are because he did not like the way they were. In the Article the author wrote "But Pratt hadn’t told the chiefs
everything. It was not Pratt’s plan
to simply educate these children
and teach them English. He also
planned to “civilize” them—to
strip them of their traditions and
ways of life. Pratt believed that
the children needed to completely
abandon their “Indian-ness” in order to succeed in America. “Kill the Indian, save the man,” was Pratt’s saying." What they did to the American Indians was bad because they were forced to leave their old beliefs to do others stuff that they probably didn't want to do. The good thing is that some of them did not just leave their beliefs as they grew up in.
A: Compare/Contrast Luther Standing Bear’s and Shanice Britton’s experiences in their own time period.
The comparison of Luther Standing Bear and Shanice is that they both kept on what they believed in like keeping what they believe in alive they. Like in the article the author wrote that Luther Standing Bear wrote about the past and how they try to change how they are and helped the American Indians right. And Shanice says that she sill does her stuff that she does at her city that she doesn't want to change because she is proud of who she is.

Where Things Come Back
So as the book starts it starts intense cause the main character says "I was seventeen when I saw my first dead body. It wasn't my cousin Oslo's."But later he describes how his cousin looks and how when he saw him he had nothing to say about it and that there nothing he could say because he didn't know if he was mad at him or sad because of his death. But I do know that his family is a little sad because of his death but not really him.
The main conflict is Man VS Man to me because of his cousin Oslo that had died it says that he had bruises on his arms and you could see a lot of other things in his body. But also it is different because I don't know who did it to him so I have no idea. But for the other body I have no idea what kind of conflict it was because it says that she could of just died of a disease but she was old to. I think that their will be more of the conflicts later because their are already a lot of stuff just in the beginning of the book.

Tolerance
Tolerance- The ability or willingness to allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of something, in particular the existence of opinion or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
- What does tolerance mean to you? - I think that tolerance means that when other people have to stand with other people making front of them because they are and they use it just to be funny. But also I think that it means for people around that can stop them from using the word but just let them or don't care because it doesn't offend them.

The Saturday Boy #2
The book is mainly about a kid named Derek. This kids father was put in Afghanistan because he was a pilot and Derek and his father really don't see each other. So his father tries to keep close with Derek by writing letters to him. But either way Derek still gets himself in trouble with violence. He also gets bullied in school and he does some not so good things and he doesn't do the things that he use to do when he was younger.
I think that the theme of the book is that some the kids are just like not paid attention to because the book Derek's dad is in war and his mom works a lot. But also it is rough for them to because they might have other problems like in the school. Because some kids might have problems somewhere else but parents probably don't have time to do anything about it.

The Saturday Boy #1
My reflection is that I think that this boy is a normal boy but with his dad just serving in the army. I also think that he might just be struggling with a lot of things to do. Or he has no idea what to do. But i'm not to sure because i'm not into the book so much but when I read a little more I will know more.
I think that the conflict is that the Man vs. Self because the kid has to think a lot about things that is happening to him. But also I think that the kid might get through the whole thing later. But maybe he has other thing in his life that might be an obstacle for him but like I said I am not to sure because Im not into the book.

Skink No surrender #4
Well Later after they are starting their hunt to find Richards best friend and cousin because she left home to go with a friend she didn't even know. So skink is driving and trying to find clues. Basically its like a mystery. So later they talk to Malley and they hear a place that the Skink knows so in the call they realize that Malley is getting held under her own will. But on their way skink gets hurt really bad in his right leg for saving a skunk in the street and his bones are crushed.
I think that both skink and Richard are both determined and really good people. I think that because theses people are trying to save Richards cousin event thought she got herself in that problem. Also I think that skink doesn't have to do what he did and it took them a cost him a broken leg. And skink also saved a skunk.
