Independent book Summary
The new book That I am reading is Code Talker. He is telling his grandchildren The story of the medal he got in World War II. He was sent to boarding school when he was like six years old and they were telling them that they could not speak in their language and that they had to speak English. If you talked in their language they would give them a punishment the main character said something in Navajo and they washed out his mouth. He graduated boarding school and went to a high school thats when the Japanese bombed pearl harbor and he wanted to join the Navajo platoon which were part of the U.S. Army. The only thing that was stoping him was the permission of his parents. They told him to wait another year. He waited the year and then joined the platoon for the which was a platoon that speak Navajo they were called code talkers witch would save lives of Americans against the Japanese.
The kid in the book is really smart he can speak both english and Navajo. When he goes to school he does pretty good. But the thing that character really is brave cause he wants to join the army but he really cant cause he really doesn't know how old he is but he he is really smart to join. But he is determined to join cause he wits the year that his parent told him to wait and he did and he went to go sigh up for the platoon.
The point of view of my book is first person point of view because in the whole book he is telling his story to his grandchildren and he says I to show that he is talking about what he did and what he would say or think. And in the beginning of the book he said "I was only six years old I was worried."

This book sounds so interesting! But I am a little confused. Who is "he" and "the kid"? You need to tell the characters names so your blog is more clear.
