The Argument of the
article was that Nike was not treating their workers fair and giving them
minimum wage. Some evidence that they gave was Slapping, kicking them, they
would throw shoes at them, and even make them stand in the hot sun. They would
pay them minimum wage of $1.25 a day. I think that is not right because a lot of
people buy Nike products so the workers should get more money for their work
and better conditions were they are working. The thing that surprised me was
that things they do when they mess up on the job like they make them stand in
the hot sun or hit them with the shoes they is not fair for the people that
work their.
In the poem Sweatshops its about a person was just a machine because they are making these things for people. Some evidence that they tell to back up the claim is that the boss calls him a machine and yells at him to go so that he works harder and faster. The poem was different because how it was told it was told like he was talking about a machine and he was the machine and in the article they just told us what they did and why its bad. It made it more difficult to understand like if it was a machine or it was a person calling himself a machine because he works all day they are yelling at him to work.
